Naeem was born with Sickle Cell Anemia. All his life, we fought to maintain his health alongside many doctors and healthcare professionals. Our experiences were sometimes great, but most times it was very difficult to the point where it seemed like there was no hope for my child.
Bridgett being a mother of 3 amazing children, we all want the same things for them which is to live a long, happy, prosperous, healthy lives. With the first two children, that future seemed bright and eminent but for Naeem, it has been a constant uphill battle with the healthcare system and the services available to individuals born with sickle cell.

It took COURAGE...
After years of dealing with doctors in various hospitals, we decided to educate ourselves to save Naeem. During these tumultuous times, Naeem’s mother was able to push her way through nursing school while caring for her three children. Climbing her way to become a Nurse Practitioner amongst other specializations.
By way of research, we became very knowledgeable about the healthcare system, the sickle cell disease, and natural alternative practices that helped Naeem grow into the strong teenager he is today.
